Martin Smith is a freelance, semi retired photographer who lives with his wife Aneta in a small village called Stambolovo located in South Bulgaria. Although he likes to take photographs in any and all situations, using his creative flair and with the use of digital he soon found that he can produce some very creative images using smoke, water drops and macro, but so can millions of other people and he wanted to apply his own style to his photography so he set up a small "studio" in his house and concentrated on producing thought provoking images using only ordinary everyday objects.
This book takes you on a journey exploring the "Cutlery Series", just one of his series of images that have received many awards as well as being featured in leading photographic magazines and other publications.

I have been a fan of Martin's unique style and talents for the past couple of years. I find his 'eye' and creative flair refreshingly humorous. If anyone can give ordinary objects personality, it would be Martin. Although I have not yet purchased the book, I am familiar with Martin's work from a couple of different websites and I find it whimsical, different, and at times, thought provoking. I suspect that this book would be a neat addition to anyone who appreciates a different view of ordinary objects.Product details
